Jonathan Caustrita is a Dallas artist with a background in character design, graphics, storyboards and animation and has worked on several commercial projects including The Family Guy, The Land Before Time, Berenstain Bears, Maisy, Surfer Joe, Day of the Dead, The Peppered Leopard, Heroes Of Might and Magic 4 and the illustrator on the short film “HELL” staring actor John Malkovich and directed by Sandro Miller and is a current illustrator for TOPPS on STAR WARS and WALKING DEAD.

The ART Of PRINCE features the popular stylized "cartoon" persona of PRINCE created by Jonathan Caustrita illustrating iconic moments of his career in films, music videos and live performances. ❤ 

PRINCE and his art have been an important source of inspiration and artistic hope in my life. His music and personal quest for total control of his creative art not only filled me with joy and kept me in a state of awe but it also helped shaped my sense of personal empowerment and drive to better my craft and talents in my art. I have been listening to and drawing PRINCE ever since I was a young boy when I heard my first song, “UPTOWN” by him way back in 1981. Over the years I’d like to think and hopefully believe that I have grown as an artist. I have noticed that the illustrations I create make people happy especially the art I create of PRINCE. It seems to bring bliss to so many. The ART OF PRINCE is my way to give back and continue the work and teachings of PRINCE by using my GOD given talent to help create something positive that will warm a heart and brighten a smile for someone else. AND this is also my way of contributing to the legacy and memory of PRINCE through original art for a new generation.
